Switzerland is such a beautiful country.

When I last visited Switzerland a few years back it really made a great impression on me.
The air was so clear, the sky was so blue and the weather was brilliant, except the last day when the clouds were low.


There's little to no graffiti in Switzerland, as it's a very clean and pure country. The locals are friendly, and mostly speak German and English. The food is great and unique too! You won't find many other foods like it.


Ever tried Zürcher Geschnetzeltes? It's a swiss dish that traditionally contains veal, water, cream, fresh mushrooms, a bit of lemon, bits of onion, white wine and some other ingredients. It's definitely worth trying if you stay over there!
Apfelküchlein is another nice food in Switzerland, which is a deep fried apple cookie which can be served warm or cold.


We stayed in a place called Kandersteg, which is in the east of Switzerland. It is well known for having an Internatonal Scout Centre, in which we stayed at as part of the Scout movement.

It has a lake nearby called Lake Oschinen, which is considered to be one of the most attractive lakes in Switzerland! It's a marvel to look at, and the water looks beautiful. A gift shop is up there as well, incase you wish to send something back to your family to make them feel jealous!

Great Pyramid of Giza

Heard of this Pyramid? It's one of the oldest pyramids that are still standing, and is believed to have taken appoximately 20 years to build. It is located in Egypt, and there are three known chambers inside the Great Pyramid which are the King's chamber, Queen's chamber and an unfinished chamber. You'd need to get on your hands and knees to get to the burial place!

The Chichen Itza in Yucatán, Mexico

Looks beautiful, doesn't it?

The Chichen Itza is a large city in Mexico which was built by the Mayan civilizations. It is very old! Preserved ruins can be found here too.

The White Heron Castle in Japan

Also known as Himeji Castle, this Castle is very old. It was built in the 1300's. It is the largest castle in Japan!

The biggest city in Texas...

Although well-known for the infamous line "Houston, we have a problem", Houston is also well known for the facilities and the entertainment that are there.

The weather in Houston is however not something to laugh at. In the summertime it can get up to an average of 35 degrees Celcius and possibly hotter!

The Jurassic Coast

The Jurassic Coast is a world heritage site on the south coast of England. The 140 million year old Jurassic Coast is very popular with tourists, and Jurassic bones and fossils are still being found there!

It is also home to Durdle Door, which is a natural arch made of limestone. Eventually this arch will collapse leaving a small rock known as a sea stack.
