The biggest city in Texas...

Although well-known for the infamous line "Houston, we have a problem", Houston is also well known for the facilities and the entertainment that are there.

The weather in Houston is however not something to laugh at. In the summertime it can get up to an average of 35 degrees Celcius and possibly hotter!

The Jurassic Coast

The Jurassic Coast is a world heritage site on the south coast of England. The 140 million year old Jurassic Coast is very popular with tourists, and Jurassic bones and fossils are still being found there!

It is also home to Durdle Door, which is a natural arch made of limestone. Eventually this arch will collapse leaving a small rock known as a sea stack.

Ever been to Queensland, Australia?

In all the places I've been to, I have never been to such a place that is as hot, tropical and frankly breath-taking as Queensland in Australia.

There's many places to go in Queensland, like for example Brisbane which is the capital of Queensland. It is well known for its Firework night on the Southbank beach. The photo below should show what I mean!

Cairns, just over a thousand miles away, is where we stayed. It's normally used as a starting place of sorts for visiting the Great Barrier Reef, which is undescribable. It's a great place to go scuba diving, as the water is so clear unlike the water here in England!

The place we stayed is called the Cairns Colonial Club, and I'd definitely recommend looking into it!

Cape Town, Africa

Cape Town during the day looks nice. It's very mountainous there, and the sea is a really nice colour, especially when compared to the water colour of the river Thames!

At night though, in my honest opinion everything looks much more eye-catching. All the lights come together like decorations on a Christmas tree. And the mountains in the background add to the brilliant atmosphere in Cape Town.

The great wall of China!

No doubts, you've heard of this wall. But have you ever thought of visiting it?
This wall is approximately 5'000km long, and the construction of it started in the 7th century. It was built to defend the Chinese Empire from Mongolian and Machu enemies north.

It can even be seen from space!
